Happy Thursday, dog lovers! Today, we’re going to feature gifts for one of my favorite breeds: The Boxer. From their short snouts, pointy ears, and to small tails and extremely short fur, they look like the Boston Terrier’s cousin, only much taller and 60 pounds heavier! According to AKC Kennel Club, they are great dogs for children, and take their role as a guard dog very seriously. It’s important they are exposed to a lot of people and other animals in their puppy stage, so they are properly socialized. Boxer T-Shirt, $19.99. I’m not a fan of Valentine’s Day. Even though I am married now, I still don’t like it. My husband and I treat it like a regular Tuesday. It’s a day where single people are supposed to feel bad because they don’t have someone to give them a bunch of roses or chocolates. Or take them out to restaurant where the menu prices are exponentially higher because it’s February 14th. So today, I’m going to make a list of great gifts to give to anyone BUT your partner. How about a great card for your sister? BFF? Grandmother? Because everyone deserves to be loved, not just your romantic partner. And these will last longer than a heart shaped candy box. Because dogs really are the best Valentine. Get this card along with a great bottle of wine. To buy, click here. I mean, duh! Rock this anytime of the year,…

It’s that time of year! In just two weeks, you’ll be sitting around the table, eating delicious food, enjoying time with friends and family, and being thankful for all your blessings. Then, it’ll be December, and we’ll be frantically trying to find that perfect gift for Mom, or your cousin, or the secret Santa at work. And if you’re like me, you’ll be finding gifts for the dog. Yes, they have no concept of what Christmas is, or why we decorate a tree inside the house (“Why is there a tree in my house? I pee on those!”), but they deserve a little something too. Because they’re part of the family, and love toys just as much as your kids do. So, to start off the gift giving season (it’s never too early!), here are things Gant would love for relaxing after a long day at the dog park. Maybe…

We all love to give back, but sometimes, we don’t have the time to volunteer. Life gets so busy. Before I moved to Connecticut, I was involved with a wonderful dog rescue. They had events every weekend, and there was always a need for more volunteers. Unfortunately, I couldn’t volunteer very often, and I definitely felt guilty. While giving your time is incredibly appreciated, organizations like these need money! Funds to help with vet checks, medical bills, food, and upkeep of their facilities. Since we enjoy spending money on our furry family members (and on ourselves!), why not buy products that give something back? Fortunately, there are a ton of options. So now you’ll have an even better excuse to use that credit card. Get matching charms for you and your favorite pooch. Part of the proceeds to go animal shelters in Israel. As you have read, there are so…
