It’s that time of year! In just two weeks, you’ll be sitting around the table, eating delicious food, enjoying time with friends and family, and being thankful for all your blessings.
Then, it’ll be December, and we’ll be frantically trying to find that perfect gift for Mom, or your cousin, or the secret Santa at work.
And if you’re like me, you’ll be finding gifts for the dog.
Yes, they have no concept of what Christmas is, or why we decorate a tree inside the house (“Why is there a tree in my house? I pee on those!”), but they deserve a little something too. Because they’re part of the family, and love toys just as much as your kids do.
So, to start off the gift giving season (it’s never too early!), here are things Gant would love for relaxing after a long day at the dog park. Maybe you’ll find inspiration for your dog too!
This is the first part in my “Gant Wish List” series, so keep a look out for more gifts ideas in the next few weeks!
Herringbone Dog Blanket, $69.00 from Orvis. Click here to purchase
Gant LOVES to be wrapped up in a cozy blanket, no matter what the temperature is in the house or outside. Something about it gives him security. This adorable blanket looks so soft, and I love anything I can personalize!
Adirondack Dog Bed Frame, $298 for Medium Dogs, and Bed $129 (and up, depending on size) from Orvis. Click here for the frame and here for the bed. When we first got our dog, the breeder said, “Boston Terriers don’t like being outside much”. Boy, was he wrong! Our dog could be outside 24/7 if we let him. His favorite thing to do is sit outside in the lanai, under the sun. This stylish bed would give him a comfortable place to get his tan on. Is it ridiculously priced? Sure! That’s why this is called a wish list!
Personalized Dog Pillow, $45 and up, Etsy. Click here to purchase This is the pattern in our house: Go to HomeGoods. Find adorable decorative pillows for couch. Place on couch. Dog sits on pillows and wears out the pattern. Go back to HomeGoods because pillows are worn out. The cycle goes on and on. Why not get them an adorable photo with their face on it? They’re the king, after all.
Bandana, Lucy and Co, $20.00. Click here to purchase. After a long day at the dog park and a nice bath, your pooch will look mighty stylish in this tropical vibe bandana. I like this one because it’s fits the tropical vibe of Florida. There are tons more colors though!
Dog Couch Bed, $45.00, Touch of Class. Click here to purchase. Ok, let’s be honest – this one is more for dog owners! For those who let their dogs on the couch, this is a perfect little bed or them. It doesn’t take up the whole couch, and it has a pillow around the edges, so your dog can prop his head up, which my dog loves to do! Comes in a variety of colors.
